Finished under deck ceiling with integrated lighting and a ceiling fan

Plan before installation

Electrical details belong in the plan.

Coordinate lights, fans, heaters, and receptacles before the ceiling system is installed so every fixture has the right location and support.

Professional coordination

Bring the installer and electrician together early.

Electrical work must be completed by a licensed electrician using outdoor-rated components and in accordance with the National Electrical Codes (NEC) and local coding requirements. Once the appropriate wiring has been placed, send our team a photo of the completed electrical work along with confirmation of the final number of fixtures to ensure a smooth installation process.

Important

This guide supports project coordination. It does not replace local electrical requirements, manufacturer instructions, or the judgment of a licensed electrician.

Lead-line preparation

Follow the plan and enjoy the outcome.

The process to bringing light and other accessories to your Under Deck Oasis is clear and easy.

Route the lead safely

Before installation, the electrician will need to place outdoor-rated wiring to each desired location, leaving 2 feet of extra wire where a fixture will be placed.

Installation you can trust

Once on-site, our crew will install any necessary fan blocking and flashing. Each wire penetration will be sealed and a pancake box will be mounted to the face of the ceiling panel.

Coordinate fixture installation

After the system has been installed, an electrician can connect the homeowner’s selected surface-mounted fixtures. Please note, recessed or can lights are not compatible with the Under Deck Oasis system.
